You are largely responsible for your son’s exposure to these gender cues. You are putting that target of promiscuity on his back. Seriously consider that blue onesie with monster trucks and phrases like, “Chicks dig me.” You’re paving his way toward a stereotype. And maybe even minutely, but you’re doing your part in ensuring the idea—that men just are promiscuous—continues.
